Welcome to my happily ever after... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- my addictions Alcohol. Cigarettes. Porn. Trading Spaces. Ok...now you know all my addictions. I've talked about the first three. I guess it's time I talk about my scary addition to that much talked about show on TLC.
I happened to stumble across Trading Spaces about a year ago while surfing through the channels. It vaguely reminded me of one of my other fav shows, Decorating Cents. Well, then I found out that they showed them daily at 3PM weekdays, and it was on from there. I tape them daily and then go home after work and relish them like a little treasure that is mine alone. No one else knows about Trading Spaces, right? I don't like to share. I have watched it so much that I know which designer will go crazy and design something nuts and which will paint little flowers on the ceiling. Here's my take on all involved with Trading Spaces: Paige: I like her. I like herralottt. I particularly loved the one where she was jumping on the trampoline. I was initially disappointed when Alex left as the host, but I'm over that now. Paige is the bomb. Ty: Cute. Not as cute as everyone makes him out to be, but really funny. Loved the episode where he handed Vern a pointy stick of wood and says "Go do something with this..." Amy Wynn: Also cute in a pseudo-lesbian kinda way. I know she's not gay but the powertools throw me off. I like her lots too. Frank: Umm, he's always talking about his "wife". Is her name Bill cuz he's a big fag if I've ever seen one. (I've seen lots). Hildy: She reminds me of a woman I used to share an office with. She cracks me up when she stands on a ladder painting in stilletto heels. Genevieve: She is sooo funny! Love her designs. Vern: Also gay. Duh. Hated the episode with the hot pink and orange kitchen. Doug: Gay? Can't tell. Famous for the "screening room" episode where he took out all the furniture and turned it into a movie theater looking thing. Big hair. Laurie: Prissy. Love her stuff though. If I had one of my rooms done, I'd want her to do it. See, I told you I was addicted. I don't believe in doing addictions halfway, mmmmkay? 2:13 p.m. - 2002-07-25 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
